Team Okuma repeats last season's win with another first place finish in the release division of the 2008 Finnseeker Mako Shark Tournament in Dana Point, CA recently.  This first place win by team members John Bretza, Randy Mansfield and Robert Mansfield represents Team Okuma's first tournament fished on the new boat.  Tyrone Bird of Best Marine equipped Team Okuma with a tournament rigged 28' Pro Kat with twin Suzuki motors to represent his company in several local tournaments this season.   After a slow start on Saturday with only 2-Mako's released, Team Okuma finished the tournament strong with 13-Mako's on Sunday, blowing away the competition with 15-Mako's released in two days of fishing.  On Sunday, Team Okuma fell inches short of also taking a 2nd place finish in the big fish category after loosing a fish that straightened the hook at leader.
