The largest model in Accurate’s Valiant series, the new BV2-1000, was built for trolling and live-bait fishing with 100-pound-test braided line. The two-speed lever-drag conventional reel weighs in at just 29 ounces and can hold 1,000 yards of 100-pound braid. It features Accurate‘s DirecShift mechanism for switching easily between high 5-to-1 and low 2.2-to-1 gear ratios. With an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, TwinDrag system and precision-cut stainless gears, the BV2-1000 costs $699.95.
