Accurate has added a new series of lightweight composite rods to the Valiant product line; the rods are designed to pair with the company’s 300- to 600-size Valiant BV reels. The 12 conventional-rod models range in length from 6 feet 8 inches to 8 feet; the smallest handles 30- to 40-pound braid, while the largest accommodates 65- to 80-pound braid. Prices range from $259.95 to $289.95.
