This company has come a very long way, and I don’t mean just the move from Oregon to Florida. Quality, modern design, construction methods – it’s all been upgraded to the 21st-century level.

The 21 Center Console specifically rates a 150 hp outboard as standard power, but you can upgrade to as much as a single 250.

Certainly fishing on the Atlantic side requires changes in fishing amenities, which Striper has addressed with a host of features, including many not found on any other 21-foot center console – lockable rod storage, a two-tier console door, a three-position hi-lo table that forms a casting or sun deck, and a full walk-through transom door. There’s also a true lazarette providing access to all your critical pumps and thru-hull systems.

Standard fare here includes a 30-gallon livewell outboard port-side with clear lid and light, a 32-gallon fish box that drains directly overboard, four rocket launchers across the back of the leaning post, in-gunwale and under-gunwale rod storage, and saltwater washdown. Pop-up cleats and the recessed bow rail – both standard – make fishing more problem-free too. It’s also unusual for a 21-footer to come equipped with hydraulic steering and a leaning post as standard (rather than pedestal seats), but the Seaswirl 21 does.

Don’t spend every minute fishing? Your guests will surely appreciate the three- position bow table and seating surrounding it. Add to that the plethora of drink holders, a handy glove box at thigh level in the console, an insulated cooler in the console-front seat and a built-in swim ladder deployable from  the water, and you can rest assured that non-fishing guests will find this boat comfortable and accommodating.

Striper utilizes a Fibercore one-piece stringer system, and then injects closed-cell foam into the dead space. This 21 boasts a composite transom, sharp entry and reverse chines to make the ride smooth and dry as well as stable.
