Jeppesen has introduced two cartography products to provide exclusive fishing content to users of many Raymarine and Lowrance multifunction displays. Owners of Raymarine models sold after December 2011 can now use C-MAP 4D charts. The chart package includes high-resolution bathymetric data; Jeppesen’s exclusive library of sport-fishing data, dynamic tides and currents; and Easy Routing that automatically plots a route around fixed hazards. Anglers who purchase new Lowrance HDS Gen2, Gen2 Touch and Gen3 displays can opt for C-MAP MAX-N+ 2015 charts, which provide much of the same data, plus intel on wrecks and reefs and more. C-MAP 4D and MAX-N+ cost $199 for local and $299 for wide coverage.
