MotorGuide’s new Xi5 wireless trolling motor with Pinpoint GPS features encapsulated digital electronics, stainless hardware and a composite shaft, and is billed as ultraquiet. The bow-mount saltwater version comes in 12-, 24- and 36-volt models with thrusts from 55 to 105 pounds, and in a variety of shaft lengths. The Pinpoint GPS offers heading lock and cruise control as well as an anchor mode, and is programmable from a hand-held remote. The system stores up to eight routes.
