Quantum Cabo and Boca Spinning Reels
Quantum has redesigned its popular Cabo and Boca spinning reels, giving the former a new lightweight frame, stronger center shaft and threads, and a super-size watertight drag for fishing braid. Ceramic and carbon-fiber washers resist heat in the sealed Magnum CSC drag system. The Boca now comes coated with Saltguard 2.0 protection, a larger stainless main shaft, and a sealed magnum clutch. Both models come with bend-resistant titanium bail wires and the exclusive TiMag bail system. Available in sizes 40, 50, 60 and 80, Cabos cost $189 to $229; Bocas cost $139 to $179.
