Knife- and toolmaker Gerber has launched a series of 12 fishing tools, including the 7½-inch Magnipliers. The hot-forged aluminum pliers feature an ergonomic trigger grip and thumb lock. Jaw tips and carbide cutters are replaceable. The pliers cost $74, and come with a sheath and lanyard. Other tools in the series include a line-management multitool (with crimper, hook threader and snips), take-apart shears, fillet knives, nipper, braid cutters and tether.
