The next generation of Okuma Epixor XT spinning reels delivers the light weight, strength and durability today’s anglers desire, the company says. The reels feature a graphite rotor and side plates plus Okuma’s C40X long-strand carbon-fiber construction. Epixor XTs also come with a slow-oscillation system that improves line lay during retrieve. Available in 20, 30 and 40 sizes, the reels feature a 5-to-1 gear ratio, carry 15- to 30-pound-test braid (depending on reel size) and deliver 11 to 19 pounds of drag, using multidisc Japanese oiled-felt washers.
