Cool Cowlings on Outboard Engines at the 2017 Miami Boat Show

A gallery of colorful custom cowlings seen on transoms at this year’s Miami International Boat Show

Cool cowlings — they seemed to be ubiquitous at this year’s Miami International Boat Show. As I strolled the docks, I was struck by just how many custom cowlings I saw, tricked out with various hues to match the boats on whose transoms these big outboards sat. (As you might figure, these were big boys — 300-hp and larger.) So, strictly for fun and since we all love bling, I snapped some shots just to share.
