FLIR Systems has announced the Raymarine Magnum high-performance open-array radar, which offers beam-sharpening technology for better target separation, and an advanced bird mode capable of marking targets out to 10 nautical miles. The MARPA-enabled Magnum is available in 4 kW (up to 72 nm range) or 12 kW (up to 96 nm range) power-output options with either a 4- or 6-foot antenna array. The radars are compatible with Axiom and Axiom Pro multifunction displays using LightHouse 3 software and with LightHouse 2 Raymarine MFDs. Prices start at $4,699.99.
