Simrad‘s new GO5 and GO7 XSE chart plotter and sonar combos deliver built-in StructureScan HD, DownScan and ForwardScan sonar; they’re also compatible with the company’s new TotalScan transducer. TotalScan is an all-in-one transom-mount unit that combines CHIRP and side- and down-scanning capabilities. The multitouch combos come with Simrad’s new TripIntel, which tracks and displays key information — such as fuel range overlaid on charts, as well as current and future tide levels — to plan a day on the water. Both models fully integrate with autopilot systems, engine-data monitors and audio components. The GO5 XSE costs $449 to $599, the GO7 XSE costs $649 to $799, and the TotalScan costs $299.
