Simrad created its 7-inch, widescreen GO7 multifunction display — starting at $899 — as an entry-level unit with standout features. Offering multitouch capability as well as drag-and-drop functionality, the GO7 comes with a 10 Hz GPS antenna and built-in traditional, CHIRP and DownScan Imaging sonar. The unit also offers wireless connectivity, so anglers can download charts, updates and Insight Genesis sonar logs from the company’s GoFree cloud system.
